• 57g Natural Foodlink Complete / Foodlink Complete Compact
  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 5 tablespoons port (80ml)
  • 200ml gravy

Roast Chicken in Honey and Port Jus

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C
  2. Heat a non-stick pan at high temperature before adding the oil, then add the chicken fillets
  3. Cook for at least 5 minutes on each side then add the port, which will take flame (be careful)
  4. At this point take the pan off the heat and place the almost cooked chicken fillets into an oven-safe dish and set aside
  5. In the pan, add honey, the pre-made gravy to any remaining liquid from the pan to create the honey port jus
  6. Slowly add the Foodlink Complete to the honey port jus and chicken, stirring continuously to avoid lumps; you may need to put the pan back on gentle heat to mix well, being careful not to boil
  7. Cover the almost cooked chicken fillets in the oven-safe dish with the honey port jus and place in the oven to cook for 15-20 minutes
  8. Serve with mash potato and vegetables
