As we reach the end of #MAW2019, we’re familiar with the images of frail and elderly patients. But what of those others? Our Representative for the South West, Lowri, shares her story: “I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease aged 20, after having reduced energy levels over a long period of time and a dramatic drop in weight over a short one. It allowed me to get enough energy back to continue studying my degree and with enough time feel like myself again! Malnutrition can happen to anyone and I’m grateful I had the right tools to get be back on track.” #malnutritionawareness #malnutrition #preventingmalnutrition #studentdietitian #rd2b #rd2be #rdchat #nutrition #dietetics
